Privacy Policy
Information about visiting this website and contacting us. Updated: 6 November 2026.
Controller and contact
PC Connect New Informatikai-fejlesztő és Szolgáltató Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (PC Connect New Kft.). Registered office and postal privacy contact: 2161 Csomád, Kossuth Lajos út 47., Hungary.
Privacy requests can also be submitted using the home page enquiry form. This policy covers the website; subsequent contractual and accounting processing is covered separately where necessary.
Enquiries
The form collects your name, email address, optional company name, message and selected language. Required fields are needed to handle your enquiry; the form cannot be sent without them. Please do not send sensitive data or unnecessary personal data about other people.
Purpose: responding to enquiries and discussing possible work. For pre-contractual steps you request on your own behalf, the basis is GDPR Article 6(1)(b). For company representatives and other enquiries, the basis is Article 6(1)(f): our legitimate interest in handling business correspondence.
If no engagement follows, messages are retained for no more than 6 months after the last substantive contact, then deleted. We do not use them for later advertising. There is no newsletter or advertising tracking.
Operation and abuse prevention
Our hosting provider may process technical data including IP addresses, request details and timestamps to deliver and protect the website. The root-page language redirect also considers a country code; we do not request precise location.
Cloudflare Turnstile checks automated form use and may process IP addresses, browser and device signals and verification results. Verification is required to use the form. You may also contact us by post.
Upstash Redis limits submission frequency using daily keyed HMAC identifiers derived from IP and email addresses, and counters. In the code, IP counters expire after 15 minutes, email counters after 1 hour and aggregate daily counters after 24 hours. Message content is not stored in Redis.
Basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in website security and preventing spam and abuse. Provider log retention depends on the service and account settings; the counter expiry periods above do not apply to those logs.
Cookies and analytics
The first-party pccn_cookie_notice cookie remembers acknowledgement of the cookie notice for 1 year so the banner does not reappear. It is set only when you press Accept and does not authorise advertising tracking. You can delete it in your browser.
The first-party pccn_language cookie remembers your manually selected HU/EN language for 1 year. It is set only when you switch language and serves the language preference you request. You can delete or block it in your browser; after deletion, automatic country-based selection applies.
Vercel Web Analytics provides aggregate visit information such as pages viewed, referrers, country, browser and device type. According to its documentation, it uses no analytics cookies or cross-site visitor tracking. We do not send form fields to analytics. Its purpose is to understand website use; insofar as personal data is involved, our basis is Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in improving the website.
We use no advertising cookies. Turnstile security processing is described in its provider notice. The language cookie and cookie-free analytics descriptions do not mean the website processes no personal data.
Providers and international transfers
Vercel Inc.: hosting, delivery and Web Analytics. Cloudflare Inc.: Turnstile bot protection. Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.): email delivery of enquiries, processing the name, email address, company name, message and language. Upstash Inc.: storage of the security counters described above. Providers may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Such transfers require safeguards under GDPR Chapter V, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. You can request information about the applicable safeguards and a copy from the controller. Provider documents are linked below.
Your rights and complaints
You may request access, rectification, erasure and restriction. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation. Portability applies subject to GDPR conditions, particularly automated processing based on a contract. There is no solely automated decision-making or profiling with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Send requests through the form or by post. We respond without undue delay, normally within 1 month. Where a GDPR extension is necessary, we explain it and its reasons within that period.
You may complain to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH), 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11., Hungary; https://www.naih.hu. You may also seek a judicial remedy or contact another competent supervisory authority.
